Mayweather vs Marquez predictions and how the fight will play out

I predict a Mayweather win based on speed being the defining factor, Marquez as I've said and I'll say it again is the better boxer of the two but he never really puts on clinics and every fight he has is close until he ultimately finishes it. How will Marquez fight Mayweather? Marquez is not a pure counter puncher - he is aggressive too so what does that mean in this fight? Marquez makes subtle movements with his feet to get slightly out of range and makes his opponents lunge forward and that's when he counters, he is best suited to mix up his attacks against Floyd and not "target his ribs" as has been quoted. If Marquez strictly fights aggressivley against Floyd he might actually get stopped.

For Floyd, well Floyd needs to use his advantages in this fight. His speed and maybe power advantage, he is the naturally bigger man of the two after all. Floyd will want Marquez to come forward to create counter punch opportunities for himself and put his speed advantange into effect, Floyd has never fought a boxer as good as Marquez but that does not carry the day for Juan who is fighting a guy who is faster and bigger than himself.

PREDICTION - Floyd Mayweather 116-112 UNANIMOUS DECISION.

I was going with Mayweather by decision when the fight was first announced but after seeing Marquez' recent training pics and his inability to see Diaz' hook coming I'm now going with Mayweather by knockout in the mid to late rounds, JMM will be competitive and Mayweather should need a few rounds to shake the rust off but I think once he finds his rhythm it's over for JMM. And I'm going out on a limb and saying that the punch that gets JMM going is a left hook off a feint.

I picked Mayweather but i don't see a knock out on this fight. It would be a skill show-off fight, i mean based on their skills, they have great boxing skills and I think it would be a great fight. Seeing the two best counter punchers at this time fighting...

Mayweather UD, like 115-113, a close but clear win

Marquez keeps the fight competetive until the final bell rings, but Mayweather noticably gets on top towards the end

Floyd gets him out of there in the later rounds. 1 sided beat down. I dont see how JMM does anything effective in this fight. Worst possible style matchup for him.

                    Joke fight.Glorified toon-up.

Mayweather is too big, fast and skilled for JMM who's defense and reflexes have left him over the years.

Judging by the bulking he's done he will be WAY to slow.

                    Mayweather late KO.
