Mayweather vs Marquez predictions and how the fight will play out

Marquez is not a tune up, Floyd is an excellent fighter but Marquez will give him some trouble even with the weight disparity.

Marquez is incredibly smart, he invests in the body in every fight to slow his opponents down, I've just watched his last three fights again all in a row what a fighter.

Guys, this fight is going to play out just like the odds indicate. A 9/2 favourite should dominate this fight. End of story.

I think Marquez will have to adjust to Mayweather's style as the fight plays out, but ultimately will get the victory because he will be the busier fighter and Mayweather won't have that many opportunities to counter because Marquez does not waste punches himself. It's hard to envision a stoppage victory for either fighter since both of them fight with a lot of intelligence, but since I'm picking Marquez to win, if the fight does end in a stoppage, Mayweather will be on the receiving end of it.

If JMM gets stopped it will be because of the referee... not JMM.

Marquez will bring the guts and glory to this fight.

But based on Floyd's past performances, Juan will need more than that to have Floyd steppin' back.

Floyd will even sit down with him and trade shots a few times for the crowd,
but that'll be it.

Marquez will show frustration and the crowd will sense it and start trickling out of the arena one by one.

People talk about size way too much in this fight. Dont get me wrong, size is a big factor but Floyd kills JMM at any weight. He's just a better P4P fighter despite what some want to beleive and like the other guy said, he is by far the worst matchup in boxing for JMM. The guy who said that JMM is a better boxer is crazy. He doesnt do one thing better than Floyd. Floyd is bigger, stronger, faster, has 10x better defense, and has all the intangibles. JMM is known for being one of the smartest fighters in boxing but Floyd is actually smarter. JMM is known for being one of the best pure boxers in the game but Floyd is better. JMM is known for being an elite counter puncher but Floyd is better. JMM is great on the inside but Floyd is better.

People always sleep on Floyd because he's been fighting guys who are too big for him or that he thinks are too big for him so he just pot shots but if you see him fight anyone his size or smaller then he's going to be a diffferent guy. People are smoking if they say that Floyd is going to counter JMM. He's going to take the fight to JMM. He's going to walk both JMM & Pac down. The only way he doesnt kill JMM is because he's older, rusty, or doesnt want to because it may look bad on him. Unlike Pac, JMM has pretty much no chance if Floyd is on his game because he is a righty and I dont think any righty in history, let alone right now can hit a "prime" Mayweather clean. I will give it to JMM and say that if any righty in history could hit him clean then it would be JMM because he throws his punches so precise and straight down the pipe but it still wont be enough.

I just think that there are only 2 ways to beat Floyd and that is to be so much bigger & stronger to where he only pot shots all fight or you have to be a Southpaw and catch him. Everyone thinks that he will fight JMM the same way he fought Baldy or Oscar. He's not going to worry about a guy his size. He will have a high output in this fight and I think he's going to embarrass JMM for however long it last "if" he's the same Floyd. I dont think JMM can land a clean shot on him at all and I dont think JMM can stop Floyd from landing clean shot after clean shot

Head says Floyd but due to him being out of the ring for 18 months i think it will be a much closer fight than people think.

If Juan can do what Judah and Oscar did early in their fights against Floyd,
he may have a chance. But, I just don't see it.

I would like to see Marquez surprise the hell out of us, though.
