Manny fought and defeated the great fighters of the lower weights. Now he is on his way to fight great fighters of WW. You view Cotto as good, but i also see him a potential great. Manny is testing the WW class in fighting a good and potencially great Cotto. If he wins convincinglly, he will fight the WW greats like SSM and PBF. If he losses, he will go back to 140 and fight a great JMM. Manny certainly has the right to fight Cotto first after moving up from 106 his whole career

I believe both fighters have a chance...Paquiao has the speed to avoid Cotto's punches and counter with a nice punch but nobody thought about this... what if Pacquiao's punch does not affect Cotto... Cotto has been in the ring with tougher punchers.. look at Clottey...

Cotto's naturally bigger come fight not so he does have an advantage if he can connect with his punches especially the body shots. It's odd that Pacquiao is being highly favored by most but he does have a chance to beat Cotto. It's still anybody's game in the end.
