The heart murmur may be a problem, considering that with the hundreds of physical exams he's had in the past it was never mentioned, assumably never existing.

A congenital heart murmur mostly means nothing important and shouldn't interfere with sports activity.

I've just found that I'm in error. I've now read that Hatton has discussed his heart murmur fully in his autobiography.

So obviously he has a congenital, harmless murmur.
