Pacquiao-Cotto: No WBO Title at Stake, Says Arum
There appears to be some confusion in the showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto, scheduled for November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. There is so much money at stake that Cotto does not want to risk his WBO welterweight title. Top Rank's Bob Arum, who promotes both fighters, told The Philippine Star that Cotto is not willing to pay the sanctioning fee involved. Arum says the fee could be as high as $400,000 dollars. and how many times has he done that? 4, 5, 6, 7? enough to be considered a legit welter? i looked at boxrec and i only saw 1...and im guessing that de la hoya guy he fought had to fork over a ****load of cash to get him in the ring
like i said, scrap this fight...let cotto hang onto his precious belt and fight someone else
PAC-Valero in texas..make it happenComment
