Embarrasing for a Filipino to see this printed in a major daily newspaper in the Philippines, but I agree... the reporter completely missed Marley's statement somewhere at the end of that article wherein he said that Mosley's statements came to him in a dream.... or possibly he read it and did not know what it meant. The definition of your above given explanation was not specifically defined...There are specific limits and range in every weight division to consider...140 lbs. is the specific weight limit for a junior welterweight any additional pounds or over this weight will be considered a welterweight w/c has a limit of 147 lbs, so any weight within the range of 140 - 147 is a welterweight...Here is a link of the list in different weight divisions for everybody sake ( http://www.boxrec.com/media/index.php/Weight_divisions )...

uh no 140-147 wouldn't equal Welterweight, as you said yourself 140 is Junior Welter, how could the Junior Welter max, 140 count toward the range as Welterweight?

is "a boxing weight class with a max of 147" or "a boxing weight class where fighters can weigh up to 147 pounds"

so if you want to say Welterweight is from above 140 to 147

that's fine and dandy, but recognize that your adding it into the WW definition

because all the welterweight division definition really says is "up to 147"
