Are you disappointed in David Haye?

He said he'd fight two "top ten" heavyweights" and then fight Wlad, but he only fought old fringe contender Monte Barrett.

He's had only ONE fight in a year and a half.

He signed a contract that he didn't like, instead getting a better one by first becoming a mandatory (by fighting someone like Arreola).

He gave his word to HBO, K2 and Golden Boy that he would fight Vitali on Sep 12, while at the same time negotiating with a softer opponent, Nicolay valuev.

He didn't take into consideration that John Ruiz was already declared WBA mandatory before negotiating with Valuev. If the fight is still on, it likely won't be for the WBA title.

Were you expecting him to be involved in a big fight or two from him during the past year and a half? Are you disappointed in David Haye?

I personally don't care about David Haye.

I never thought he was any good to start with.

None of the above. Vitali got too greedy, Haye looked for an alternative and found it. End of.

I feel bad for David Haye's fans. He'll continue to disappoint them in the future.

The should become fans of Eddie Chambers instead - now there's a young heavyweight who has the qualities Haye lacks, namely professionalism, courage and a warrior's heart.

Not really, he took an easier fight like Wlad did IMO when he chose not to wait for Haye and fought Chagaev instead.

well you nailed it with 'indecisiveness and inactivity'.

this is why promoters exist. if haye had signed with goldenboy or someone when he moved up to heavyweight he wouldnt be involved in this continuing farce thats going to see him matched up with every possible heavyweight before he actually gets in the bloody ring with someone

Its not hayes fault as such though, theres only so much he can do on his own, and the klitschkos werent really playing ball with him, were they? 3 fight deals, ridiculous purse splits, they clearly didnt want to fight him, whatever the reason might have been

Why should he wait for Haye when the chance to be recognized as the ring Champion was presented.

Chagaev is a good fighter also, he wasn't like he was fighting a bum.
