Do you? To negotiate you have to have something to negotiate with. Haye will have that after beating Valuev, particularly if he could KO him.

The Valuev fight will likely be a non title fight so I don't see how it progresses Haye.

Beating Valuev, particularly KO-ing him, would be big currency. The guy is still 50-1. All of that 'not deserving a shot' stuff instantly becomes complete bull****. It will be a title fight.. you think Don King didn't anticipate the reaction from Ruiz? It's just a case of greasing the right palms, not least those of Ruiz himself.
