Are you kidding me? The promoters couldn't find a replacement for a Sept fight? C'mon, we're in July! That's not ample time to find a replacement? Really 2009, has been the year of the cancellations/postponements...

On a reason why he went with a better deal?? Why don't we speculate why vitali and wlad never wanted to deal with don king?

Onto a probably better deal while losing a lot of face in the proces.

Do you? To negotiate you have to have something to negotiate with. Haye will have that after beating Valuev, particularly if he could KO him.

Beating Valuev, particularly KO-ing him, would be big currency. The guy is still 50-1. All of that 'not deserving a shot' stuff instantly becomes complete bull****. It will be a title fight.. you think Don King didn't anticipate the reaction from Ruiz? It's just a case of greasing the right palms, not least those of Ruiz himself. I'd be amazed if King didn't have the WBA sorted even before the fight was announced; that's what he brings to promotion that Haye himself can't.

The Klits aren't going to start giving him better terms if he beats Valuev
Are you kidding? Of course they are - this is BOXING. All the hype and the hate will make it far too big a fight for either to turn down, even for a smaller slice of the pie.

Am glad he lost face but would be in charge of his career rather fight for peanuts while and boxer controls who he fights and where like a modernday slave.

You're showing yourself to be quite a David Haye nuthugger, raycorey.

You even believe all his lies and swallow every excuse he makes. Love is blind!

This coming from a person that spends the majority of his days defending two men he don't even know.

Arreola is a good replacement fight.

I'm glad everyone seems to think Haye should of signed his career away for peanuts.
