why would hatton fight a b level fighter for a tune up when he's a d level fighter himself. ricky will get knocked out by a c level fighter.all you have to do is send a punch right down the middle between ricky's short arms.marquez is an a level fighter.

Very, very BAD fight for Ricky.

This would amount to a 9 or 10 round beating until he can't take anymore. JMM doesn't punch as hard a Manny and will probably carry the fight until the late rounds. Marquez being a great boxer/counter puncher will hit Ricky all night long and this is how Ricky is going to get hurt, that night and in the long run.

i know ricky has more left in his arsenal. the guy can still box. one thing i like ricky is that he want to fight and not run inside the ring. he continuously stalking his opponent and not afraid to get hit. the guy want to exchange punches with his foe.

it is understandable he want a big fight in his come back. if barrera and rocky juarez still got championship fights after losing, why not hatton? hatton is more exciting to watch than juarez. but his planned fight with marquez will not happen for a very simple reason:

marquez will not win against ugly boy floyd. but if he want to fight the loser of the ugyboyfloyd vs. marquez, then he got the fight with marquez.
