It would be a bad beating for hatton again. I like him,but he's been more hype than what he is in a way and he went with it. He could've been beaten by Castillo and Kostya Tszyu, but they were over the hill, it was more painful that the hype continued and he was beaten really bad twice. I give respect for wanting the big fights though.

Ok if this is the only fight Ricky is interested in then he needs to retire, even if JMM loses against Floyd, which he probably will, he would still KO Hatton. Do you really wanna force your ****** fans to pay out for another trip to Vegas nd watch you lose, or even better bring JMM over to the UK and watch him destroy you in your own backyard. Isn't it bad enough that people now think Khan could beat you, does that not tell you something.

What? He wants to take a nap in the ring again? Just retire Ricky.

I dont doubt that Hatton can still beat people. But Hatton wants to come back on a win and dont want to end on a loss. JMM is pretty good, so if Hatton loses again, he will be ending up with a loss again.
So is he going to want another fight if he loses to JMM?

Well said bro...Well said...Hatton is a 'paper' champ that was hyped by his supporters...nothing more...as I said earlier, he beat two men who were shells of there former self in Kosta & Jose Luis...he should be very grateful that after having a win over malignaggi (give me a break if you call this a notable win, the dude fights with one hand, while the right hand is always broken!) that it warranted him a fight with pac! and as we all know, pac completely exposed hatton and put him to sleep...time to move on ricky...go get married, have another kid, start a promotion company...but please don't enter the squared circle again...save yourself the punishment so you won't be punch drunk like your former trainer floyd sr...

I can see why Ricky would want one more big fight! He was screwed over by the babbling idiot Floyd Sr in training camp and also feels like if he would've stuck to his game plan, the fight with Pac would have at least lasted longer. And a fight with JMM might be a winnable fight for him if he has anything left. Light hitting Juan Diaz rocked JMM a couple of times and was on his way to a win until he got cut. Ricky might be able to smother JMM and if he can get inside, he could wear down JMM with his size. I would still favor JMM to win this fight but I can see why Ricky would take it. Another big payday and a possible win. And if he loses, he lost to another top P4P fighter, which is less shame than losing to say, Amir Khan!

Why not fight either Barrera or Morales?

I guess Hatton wants another KO/TKO loss on his record.
