    Whats wrong with Hatton?
He insists on fighting p4p fighters and getting ko'ed. The guy has a death wish.
Hatton, the only boxer ever who loved to lose via KO.

Hatton has been on the shelf since suffering a brutal two-round knockout at the hands of Manny Pacquiao back in May. If Hatton does decide to return, he told Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer that if he ever comes back, he wants a big fight. [details]
Ummm! Gatti was never knocked out cold.

Hatton doesn't deserve a fight with Marquez. Unfortuntately though, because of who he is and the fact that his fans are die hard about him would make it possible for him to get it. Even if he does, he has no chance at all against Marquez. Marquez is way to smart and Hatton would get tattooed all night and then KO'd again.

He'd rather go **** or bust when losing a fight, what's the point carrying on fighting the same way when you're already way behind?

You won't ever see Hatton losing some boring 12 round shutout that's for sure.

I'm really getting sick of **** posts like this.

The same Pac who couldn't stop a shot Barrera 2 years ago, won a controversial SD over Marquez, beat a shot, drained DLH and then the 'paper champ' Hatton? And that gets you P4P #1, fighter of the year and ATG status.

Or you could look at it like Street Bully's recent thread instead - give fighters some props for the guys they beat. So Pacs recent record becomes victories over 4 HOF's, 2 or 3 of which are ATG's, plus Diaz (I don't know where he ranks).

Hatton completely dominated and outboxed Malinaggi to the point his corner threw in the towel, he finished Castillo with a tremendous liver punch inside 4 rounds and hammered Tsyzu into quitting on his stool, DLH style.

Back on subject, in his prime it would have been a very good fight against JMM, I would have taken JMM to win a UD/SD but at the moment I can't see Hatton ever getting in a ring again, never mind beating anyone.

Ricky doesn't belong in that league. Fighting JMM = 3rd brutal pwnage at the hands of another true p4p elite.

You can all bet your house on that.

But Duran was against Hearns and was similar to the way hatton was knocked. And you got to be honest that Durans best part of his career came after losing to Hearns.
I might have to check my history here, but i think duran did pretty good. If he decided to retire after being knocked by hearns a large chunk of what he achieved would be wiped off the radar.

Not that im saying Hattons best years are ahead of him by any stretch of the imagination/

lol hes saying "i wanna fight" but meaning the opposite. Because he knows Floyd will win. He should have said "win or lose, i want Marquez next".

Why doesn't hatton fight shane mosely? Problem sloved. Mosely gets a decent pay-day and hatton gets another big fight! Hatton would probs be knocked out in 5 though!

if jmm beats floyd why the hell does hatton think jmm will chose his sorry overrated ass over paquiao. jmm is his heart still thinks he has some unfinished business with pac. or if cotto and jmm win their fights then we have another huge mexican and puerto rican rivalry fight. hatton just go away forever.
