I'm from the same barrio of Trinidad so I was and still a huge fan of him, but very biassed. But Sweet Pea got me into boxing.

For me it was the barrera and marquez fight then de la hoya mayweather 24/7 was so damn awesome even though the fight wasnt as good as the 24/7 it was still decent . Ive watched every fight that i could see on tv since then. So what about yall.

I think Rocky got me hooked on Boxing. I started watching boxing with my dad, fights like Leonard/Hearns, Leonard/Duran, stuff like that. I saw Holyfield/Qawi 1 on tv the live and thought that was awsome. Then the whole Tyson thing came along that time. I would watch espn top rank boxing too.
Ive always been a fan but what rekindled my interest was Morales/Barrera 1. I watched that fight on HBO and was incredibly impressed with the guts they showed. Shortly after that I joined the HBO forum and became a regular poster and learned way more about the sport and started collecting Video's and taping just about every fight that came on TV. I ended up with about 500 fights "on videotape" LOL. I still watch alot of fights and like to keep up on it.

I also was a big USA Tuesday Night Fights watcher, I still thing O'Grady and Al Albert were a killer combo. I think O'Grady should be on HBO or something he's a funny dude and has good insight.
