However, Pascal took Diaconus best shots, and he isn't exactly a light hitter, IMO. So, I would say he has proven to have a decent chin. I haven't seen much of Dirrell recently, I downloaded a load of his fights a few monthes back though, and from what I remember....

He has very fast hands, he has decent power, but squares up a bit, and against Hanshaw seemed to be a bit shakey early and didn't cope under pressure to well early on.

Why are you making out Taylor started fast when he did not, he started at a normal measured pace., its just Froch started slowly because there was nothing he could do with Taylor whilst Taylor was active in the fight, he only came into it when Taylor stopped throwing about the mid way point.

I picked Froch to win, not because he is that good but because Taylor is/was that overrated!! and i knew Froch would catch up with him, but that says more about Taylor to me than it does Froch.

I would never of picked Froch if Taylor had an ounce of stamina.

        Look closer at this please.

Point 1. He was fighting in front of a hostile crowd, he has alvays been a nervy fighter who takes time to warm up.

        LOL

Point 2. Taylor only won early rounds. The reason why he won these rounds is because he went nuts and went all out at Froch. Had he conserved his stamina, and fought a slower, paced fight then he would of got smashed like he did in the final rounds. I personally think Taylor got lucky that his stamina lasted so LONG and he didnt gas and get iced earlier.

Taylor didnt throw more than 30 punches a round and got tired vs hopkins , he didnt even try to finish froch to not gas himself out, like against pavlik and he still gassed out

Point 3. Taylor is a very good skill boxer with a good chin, he is FAR superior to the likes of Dirrell, a chinny Hype who has never left america and never fought anyone decent.
Taylor is more tested, but untested fighters can prove theyre good....hell, forch's resume without his last 2 fights looks terrible
In conclusion, no, froch didnt get lucky, because its a well known fact that taylor gasses, but also dont give forch credit for "getting taylor to deep waters", because jermain goes to them all by himself........froch has power so he finished a gassed out taylor(maybe if kassim ouma had power, he wouldve done it too and without going to the canvas), thats it.....

                The 5th.

Diaconu wobbled him at the end.

Taylor had been exposed a long time ago. IMO any good fighter with pop can beat him now. All you have to do is try not to fall too behind for the first 8, then pick up the pace, and go all out in the last two rounds.
