Of course you would say that self proclaimed " Tyson fan". Brewster was a limited fighter who did not have the skills of Buster Douglas. Sanders might have been equal in skills to Doulglas. But Tyson didn't go down 5 times in two rounds against Douglas either.

That's why he's a much better fighter but wit a more cautious style now. He wouldn't be the man if he didn't get KTFO by those guys.

Not hating on the guy i personally think he's a great dude but as a fighter come on has anyone lost to these type of guys
Good point. No percieved "champion of the division" has ever lost to such lackluster opponents.
            In addition,
Wlad does not accept anything but 70-30 splits with a rematch clause in all of his fights.
This has rubbed of in older bro, as we have seen with the Haye discussions.

Were any of them linear heavyweight champions?
Remember the Buster Tyson fought was a different animal than what had been seen previously or past the Tyson fight. The motivation of a close family member dying and knowing this was his last title shot robbed him of all potential fear, and the result was evident when he outlasted an out of shape, unprepared Iron Mike.

Well Leon Spinks was a linear HW champ and like Douglas he lost it on his first defense and was never close to winning any title ever again. Was Leon Spinks a great fighter? My point is, you can't judge a fighter based on a couple of losses and write him off as a bum. Both Tyson and Lewis are top 10 ATG HWs and they were both knocked out by far inferior fighters while in or extremely close to their primes. It happens.

Anyway, you can't say Buster Douglas is all of a sudden a great fighter, simply because he was a linear champ, especially considering the extraordinary list of circumstances that had to happen for his flash grasp on that title to occur. Any more than you can call Rahman a great fighter.

I can go on about the vicious headbutt that Sanders landed on Wlad's jaw, or the way the ref in the Brewster fight helped pull Wlad to the ground and then stopped the fight when he was on his feet, well after the round had ended, but it would be pointless. The important thing is Wlad dusted himself off, and improved his defense to the point where he rarely gets hit, or loses a single round these days. Today he is the linear champ and is widely considered Undisputed. He's not a top 10 ATG, yet, but he sure as hell isn't a bum either.

Yeah, that's it. The referee pulled Wlad to the floor and that's why Wlad lost to Brewster. And Sanders headbutted Wlad for the KO. Yeah, right. And if the police didn't jump in the ring, Jim Jeffries would have beaten Jack Johnson LOL

You really shouldn't talk about fights that you haven't seen.

Jim Jeffries hadn't fought for SIX YEARS and had to lose almost a hundred pounds when he fought Jack Johnson. Yet, somehow you keep gloating over that win. Wonder why?

See you still have that false quote of mine in your sig. Why not fake some more while you're at it?

You once said you wished your Aunt was dead because she voted for *****. And it had everything to do with his race. Stop lying, clown lol. And BTW, Jeffries admitted that he never could have beaten Johnson ant any point in his career. How do you like that? lol
