WTF with the Ring Magazine Rankings? They suck Badly

I mean why they turn to be such ridiculous rankings?

I will start with the Super FlyWeight Division.

They have Nobuo Nashiro a fighter with a 12-1-0 record ranked number 3, they have Hugo Cazarez who has not had a fight at the weight yet ranked number 9, but they dont even have Jose Lopez ranked, and the guy is the WBO champ and hasnt lost a fight since 2001.

BantamWeight Division

They have Johnny Perez ranked number 6, they have Fernando Montiel who only have 1 fight against a bum in the division at number 10, but the dont have Morel who has won 6 straight fights at BW and they took Peņalosa off the list, for moving up in weight a losing to JML.

Super BantamWeight Division

Decent Rankings

FeatherWeight Division

Decent rankings, the only problem they have here, is that the have Riol Li Lee and Martin Honorio higher than Elio Rojas, who just Took Takahiro Ahos belt.

Super FeatherWeight Division

They have Klassen and Fana higher than Martinez and Linarez, wich is Bull ****, because Linarez and Martinez are both Champs, Both undefeated.

LightWeight Division

This rankings are somewhat wrong they have Rolando reyes, who wasnt even a top 15 LW over guys like Katsidiz,Funeka and Moses(WBA champ), just for beating Julio Diaz, wich is ridiculous. they have ****ing Miguel vazquez, who wanst even a top 20 LW at number 7, just beause he beated Prescott, who was ranked number 10.

Junior WelterWeight Division

Decent Rankings only fault is that Khan wasnt even a JWW and they ranked him number 4 and that they have Torres who is a WW now.

WelterWeight Division

Fairly decent rankings, only problem is that they have Mosley at number 1 and Cotto number 2, and Cotto should be number 1, based on that he neat mosley and that he just beat the number 3 WW, while Mosley havent done **** besides struggle with mayorga and Sit his ass after his good win after Margarito.

Super WelterWeight Division

How the **** they have Williams at number 1, after just beating Phillips? Thats ridiculous. Dzinziruk or Forrest should be number one. they have Phillips Spinks and Mora higher than Martinez and Santos. Come on now?
The SWW division have the worst rankings by far.

MiddleWeight Division

Fairly decent rankings. How teh **** they have Williams at number 3 after beating a old ass Winky? After one fight and he is number 1 at SWW and number 3 at MW? WTF?

P4P Rankings

First I will start by saying WTF is Nonito Donaire doing in there let alone higher than Williams and Cotto. And more so, they dont have Calderon in there, but they do have Donaire and Caballero. then they have 4 out of the first 5 GBP fighters. they have Mosley at number 4 wich is ridiculous given teh fact, Cotto beat him and After Cotto beat Clottey he go dropped 2 spots. So WTF with that? they have Rafa marquez whos last decent win was one 2 year and a half ago. they should have guys, like Hazegawa, Darchinyan, pavlik or John in there in the place of Donaire, marquez and even Caballero.


This rankings are too biases towards GBP fighters and they are very unorganize and they dont have any type of sistem in wich they can measure, rankings in a fairly manner.


But people still follow them rankings and the ring mag like they are perfect or liek it was a damn gopel.

They are as bias or ****** as teh sanctioning bodies


But like i said I will admit, people lead from them. I hope they create a better ranking sistem, since they are the point of reference for most fans!

The scary thing is that they're doing it very subtly right now, waiting for people to forget they own it (could be years) and then they'll be far more blatant in their bias. Well actually they're already pretty biased; just seems no one's noticed yet.

The one who got me mad, was that right after Cotto beat Clotte, the dropped him from number 7 to number 9 and they move Mosley up to number 4.

Just to give the impression that Mosley was a better match up or simple more worth it thatn Cotto!!!!!

And Calderon, man honestly Your complaining about nonito being over him??? Hell yea Nonito should be ranked higher than Calderon, Nonito is a monster at his division, the dudes last fight was at 112 and Arum is planning on him fighting Lopez. You are discrediting Paul Williams?? Well why doesnt Santos stop messing around and fight!!! At least Williams has dudes running away from him.

Putting Nonito Donaire in the P4P rankings is a bigger crime than ****. WTF did he do to earn it? He wins against weak ass competition. He didn't fight Naito, Narvaez and is afraid to rematch Darchinyan.
