What gets me with this is...................there are sooooo!! many people excusing it the same way they did the Hopkins quote.

When they would not be so philosophical if Cazlaghe had said it. Now if you buy into the bull**** you can excuse it because of whats happened historically, but if you have a brain you would think that we should all be held accountable by the same standards, because if we are not then what happens is.................these type of comments do get made by Maweather and Hopkins BECAUSE they know they will get the benefit of the doubt because of whats happened historically, essentially they are saying it because they can.

Who cares if is selling the fight ? even if it is you should have to take responsibility.

Good points. Like you said they say it because they can and I think some people expect to see and hear them act the way they do because its all entertainment.

I don't really get into all the talk or believe half of what the fighters say. I just wait for them to step in the ring or cage. I know how all of it works. If both were respectful and didn't talk there would be no hype.

In today's society one cant just say I'm going to beat you up. Back 50 years ago that was a real threat. Now days you have 5 year olds that say that. They have to come up with something else that will sell and cause drama. Get the press talking. Get the news talking.... Be that bad guy.

Anyway there all about hyping a fight and selling seats along with PPV. Is what they say right? Sometimes yes and sometimes no. Nothing I could do about though. I just enjoy the sport along with the drama along the way!
