Looked what happened when he was in with Jay Nady when he fought Jones a referee who didn't let him cheat. He got ****ing thumped by Jones. When Ruiz can't clinch all the time he gets beat.

He is also a top HW because the HW division is a ****ing disgace.

Bottomline is that Ruiz is winninng because he is allowed to cheat. When he can't hold, he is pretty much worthless...

To say that John Ruiz is a disgrace is an insult to the word disgrace.

The only reason John "the cure for Insomnia" Ruiz is still champion is plain and simple DON KING!!!!!!! The guy can't imo be called a true champion, even though he has held onto a title like it's an opponent of his in a fight.
**** him, **** his manager/trainer Norman Stone, and especially **** Don King for letting this joke stay champ!!!!!!!!

Im not syaing that he is a "good" champion but he stilld eserves more respect than he gets because lets face it, the guy still sc****s out wins. Perfect example was the Oquendo fight where i think i ahd him down in teh fight before the knockout which let him win yet again. Hes not fun to watch and hes not a great boxer but he wins and he needs credit for that.

More to the point, the guys that beat him deserve credit for their wins, like Roy Jones, because they are still ebating a very difficult fighter to beat.

Yes indeed. Norman Stone is a joke. Who was it that KO'd him at a press conference a lil while back? That was classic. Dude was layin on the ground pretending to be unconcious so he wouldnt get hit again. L O ****ing L

haha yea that was a pretty funny one...I always thought that Norman Stone was sort of a counterintuitive choice for a guy whose nickname was "the quiet man"

That's just it. He makes every body look bad, and not in a good way. Sure he may be winning against Oquendo before the TKO, but he did it not by boxing, but by hugging him to death, PERIOD. And that is why nobody in their right mind respect the guy. As I said before, this is boxing, not the MMA or Wrestling, PERIOD.

Ruiz is a true spoiler, I have never seen someone who can make so many good fighters look bad in my life...p.s. He makes himself look even worse. But the nightmare is almost over Tony, Vitali orByrd will end it within the year.

Ruiz should be fighting Sumo wrestlers in Japan instead
