picks up Arums savvy because it comes with experience. Oscars
so worried about making a next star instead of picking the right
one and letting him come up. With Ortiz Oscar made the wrong call
and put too much pressure on him too early. Arum has the best
roster of fighters with better earning potential. Shane Mosley doesn't
help Oscar and Golden Boy's cause either with his BS.
    who else does Arum have???

I honestly believe Cotto used this as leverage in getting the Pac fight and at 145lbs.

I believe if Arum didn't get this fight Cotto would've turned into a GBP fighter forcing Arum to push Pac harder for the deal than he would've otherwise have done.

Arum is a great card player held the ace used it effectively. He must have been/is a great lawyer. Cotto probably should have left gave him a better shot at Mayweather just because of the Arum animosity and spite. he forgot Arum would have had no choice but to deal with Cotto he's owns the fan base not the other way around. There's no one else out there to make these real welterweight fights with that can capture the same segment. Cotto swallowed his principles and got sold.

Several months ago, Cotto became angry with Top Rank's support of Antonio Margarito, who had his license revoked by the California State Athletic Commission. He told outlets that he would explore his options at the end of the year, when his contract was expected to run out.

I guess what went on at the golf course wasn't enough to make Cotto sign with GBP...

Cotto is in a no win situation as far as boxing reputation for this fight, if he wins, he was the bigger guy if he loses he loses to the smaller man, it keeps him in a good financial situation though.
isnt that what matters to you floyd fans? a good finacial situation.
