This is a moot point anyway, Taylor will get tired of punching AA's shell and get KTFO.
I agree it won't change the fact that Pavlik ducked him. But Abraham needs to make an impression in this tournament. This is the first time in Abraham's career that he is stepping up to the elite level. Pavlik still became the champ by beating Taylor.

True, but Abraham made a pretty good impression last time he was on Showtime against Oral and before that against Miranda. Sturm just got a gift against Gevor someone that Abraham KTFO.

Pavlik would be to much for Winky. Pavlik has a constant work rate, while Winky shoots out uneffective punches in rare spurts. Many call Pavlik a bum, predictable, so on. But he has other qualitys that others don't such as tremendous heart, great chin, and mental stability. These were the qualitys that allowed him to KO out Taylor AND outbox Taylor in the rematch. Don't undermine Pavlik because he lost to one of the greatest of all time. You know damn well Pavlik would test out Winky's chin, Winky is nothing now, he hasn't impressed nobody. Winky's style compliments Pavliks, he just covers up when he's being attacked, and Pavlik would blast that right hand against his glove, may not be a clean shot, but it definitely wouldn't cushon all that power Pavlik has. Face it, all Winky really does now is throw jabs and the occasional straight. Winky would be defense, correct, but Pavlik would keep throwing and scoring points. It's just pure logic.

That's the reason why I want Pavlik to fight Paul Williams since Abraham has moved on. But Williams and Goosen need to be realistic about how much money they are going to get compared to Pavlik. Paul's fight with Winky Wright was a bomb at the gate, and the thing he brings to the table is his impressive wins over Wright and Margarito. Pavlik is the champ and he has a bigger fan base. A big fan base translates into money. And that is something that Williams doesn't generate that well. It's the reason why I like the guy though. These fighters like Juan Ma and Pavlik are using big fan bases to hide from top opposition. But Caballero is willing to make the concessions against Juan Ma that Williams seems not willing to make against Pavlik.

I also don't understand this bandwagon that PAvlik ducked Abraham. How? Pavlik has stated many a time that he'd love to fight Abraham. It's Pavliks people who aren't allowing the fight, so quit putting the blame on him. I find it quite annoying how everyone on this site was a fan of Pavlik until he lost to Hopkins, and all of a sudden he is trash. That's whats killing boxing nowadays. Everyone will jump on the hype machine, than as soon as they lose, they hate him and have disgust for them. Everyone loses. Joe Louis was KO'd, but that didn't stop the people he influenced from being his fans, so why in this day age should a loss affect the way people look at him as a whole?

Balzsay would be great but due to Karoly not having name recognition it won't go down

Martinez and PW are the likely ones that i want to see

Strum is acceptable but i don't want to see it

Ineffective? Did you see JT's face after their fight? Winky makes you work more than you want too and seeing as how Pavlik doesn't have a good defense and isn't the brightest bulb, he will be getting jabbed in his face consistently. Workrate is not enough against a non rusty Winky, Williams used foot and head movement when he wasn't punching.

I agree P-Will hasn't proved he should get 50/50 because his fanbase is small, but 50/50 was Goossen's opening offer. An opening offer is meant to be negotiated, it means you're willing to except less, that's why the sit down and have negotiations.

Pavliks constant pressure is to much for Winky. Also Pavlik is very good at piercing defenses, mostly used by his power. Workrate is the KEY to defeating Winky, it's the foundation of scoring points off him. That's how P-Will dominated Winky. And why are you mentioning a non-rusty Winky? We are talking about the present, not prime-vs-prime. And what does JT's face have to do with how well Winky will do? Winky is pretty feather-fisted, I don't see him bothering Pavlik at all, nor do I see any meaningful blows coming out of him. Plus he's been very inactive in recent years. Paul doesn't have that well of head movement, he used mostly his reach against him until he went to close, and he wasn't using foot movement, he was purely coming forward, no significant lateral movement. Just face it, Winky is much more washed up than Pavlik.
