If this fight, would have happened in September of last year, I would have picked Pavlik in a war. Because P-Will use to get hit by everything, but now that he's added some foot and head movement, I see him smashing Pavlik.

I say Winky, if Pavlik were to win that fight he'd bring his stock up a bit and would be able to somewhat make up for that loss against Bhop. At the very least it would show us if he's capable of still competing, because there are some great fights for him out there but Bhop really showed how green he is. Jab, Jab, Right is a great foundation its not going to let you compete with the elite no matter how much power is behind it.

There are three possibilities at 160 pounds — WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm, former light middleweight champion Winky Wright and WBC junior middleweight champion Sergio Martinez — and one at 168 pounds, WBO super middleweight champ Karoly Balzsay.

Pavlik’s promotion company, Top Rank Boxing, held staff meetings this week to discuss Pavlik’s future and got clearance from HBO for all four fighters. HBO is the premier cable network for boxing and has aired most of Pavlik’s major fights.

One other name to remember at middleweight is Paul Williams, although Pavlik’s co-manager, Cameron Dunkin, said he is not being considered at this time. Pavlik camp, HBO at work on a fight - By Joe Scalzo

Man Pavlik doesn't seem to be able to catch a break, I feel bad because he wants to fight but there's really just **** for people at the moment.

Once Abraham wins the SMW tournmanent he'll be begging to fight him.

If Abraham loses to Jermaine Taylor in the first round, his case for a Pavlik fight is going to completely evaporate. He needs to crush Taylor to make those wins by Pavlik look suspect.

No, because if Abraham still goes on to win the tourney than it wouldn't matter. It wouldn't take away the fact that Pavlik ducked him either because at 160 it was for all the marbles and he didn't want it.

This is a moot point anyway, Taylor will get tired of punching AA's shell and get KTFO.
