I can say this though, if this fight had been in Germany where clean punches count the most and blocked punches count for nothing, Khan would've been in trouble.

can't help it, kotelnik had a high winky guard up. the winky guard is hard to get around.

reminds me of sturm against delahoya.

you need hooks and body work to get through that.

with amir still working on his defense and his questionable chin.....not really good to trade hooks and work the body.

Definitely. Kotelnik was his own worst enemy in this fight, you got the impression that if he could just alter his style he could win.
