It doesn't its actually pretty good, It was horrible in the Kotelnik fight because of Kotelniks high guard, Khan didn't want to hook around the guard otherwise he would've got caught (as Roach pointed out post-fight)
It's like Winkys guard, you have to overwhelm it not get around it.Comment

To be fair Kotelnik has good defense. Khan however was not able to land anything of substance in this fight. I'm not saying he didn't win because those flashy combinations of his kept Kotelnik from doing anything all night. He outworked his opponent, plain and simple, and showed toughness that had been previously questioned.
I can say this though, if this fight had been in Germany where clean punches count the most and blocked punches count for nothing, Khan would've been in trouble.
I've watched a lot of Khan and his accuracy really isn't that good. He likes to punch at the gloves, which has won him most of his fights so far, but it's something he should try to improve on.Comment

Lets be honest, Khan won this fight with his legs more than with his offense. But he deserves credit for his conditioning and sticking to the gameplan.Comment
