Miguel Cotto struggles against fighters with fast hands

This is my own assessment that I think can't be disputed. Fighters with quick hands and any kind of punch give him issues. Zab Judah had him in trouble early in their fight, and an almost 40 year old Shane pushed him to his limits. This is why I think Pac KO's Cotto mid rounds.

        I agree..

Corley, Torres, Judah, and Mosley were all FAST and atleast 3 of them really had him stunned..not so much because of their power..but because of their speed..they caught him off guard and had him hurt..

but one thing about your "assessment" is that you claim that Pac KO's him by the mid rounds?..

ALL those guys caught him early..and by the mid rounds they were ALL getting timed and PUNISHED!..if Cotto makes it past the 5 or 6th round with out being seriously hurt..Pac will be getting walked down after that..cuz the jab and body work will be too much..just like it was for the guys named up top!..just my opinion..

          He hasn't lost to one.

Like Boom said, in the early rounds he has some trouble until he establishes his jab and times them. After that he really doesn't have that much trouble.

Keep in Mind...He does struggle with these fighters...And these fighters are not an elite fighter that can be compared P4P to Pacquiao.
Cotto does have issues early on and usually breaks them down. These fighters are not Pacquiao...

You are part correct. He struggles slightly against boxers with quick hands but difference is Pacman's history is with featherweights and lightweights. Also, the fighters that Cotto has struggled(besides mosley) were destroyed toward the middle/end rounds. Pacman was rocked by Marquez in 2nd fight and Cotto punches WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY harder than Marquez. So you are right but look at end result which is all that counts. It's like saying cotto was beating margarito in rounds 1-6 but what happened at end?

You are part right again....These fighters are WELTERWEIGHTS and pacman is not, he is a lightweight fighting in welterweight division.

YEP, PACMAN fans seem to not understand that. I really believe Roach is very nervous about this fight wayyyyyyyyyy more than hatton/oscar. Remember Roach predicted Hatton would not last 3rounds and he was right. Roach predicted oscar would not last more than 8 rounds and he was right. Roach last month said he thinks cotto vs pacman will go the distance. Roach knows that Cotto is not Hatton/oscar.
