What will happen if Amir Khan gets KOed?

If the skillful but light-punching Andreas Kotelnik KOs Amir Khan tomorrow, will the Khan hype train finally come to a stop?

Or will Frank Warren try to come up with a new strategy, maybe matching him exclusively against feather-fisted clubfighters?

I'm not sure. They HYPE that Warren has created is unbelievable. There are so many deluded nuthuggers still proclaiming Khan to be the next SRL it's sickening.

The only opponent (note the singular) Khan has fought that is a legitimate Lightweight reeled off one of the most brutal KOs of the last decade within ONE MINUTE of the fight begginning. It's amazing the hype that has again be built after a blown up club fighter (***an) and a former super bantam weight legend (that was brutally headbutted and the CORRUPT referee/doctor stopped that fight in the 5th) was fed to the cash-cow.

I'm looking for BIG, BIG Kotelnik KO around the 10th.

It will be game over for Khan. At least until he can get his defense sorted out, he's still young and has a whole career ahead of him.

Khan is the most overhyped fighter in the sport. Amir would have no chance against a top light welterweight like Bradley.

Unless there's some Frank Warren crooked stuff going on tomorrow, Kotelnik will surely win.

I'm thinking this too. A stiff jab wobbles him.

You know, I really don't like to hate on a boxer. But I'm really looking forward to the Khan hype ending and watching him crawl back to Bolton (albeit in a more expensive car than I'll ever own). Nice kid, but as a fighter.... Paulie Malignaggi could knock him out. His fast hands aren't going to carry him past a puncher with a little timing and a little luck. I'm thinking of Amir getting KOd in rounds 9-12. Just my prediction. As much as I'd love to see another great british fighter... I don't see it being him. My other prediction - if he loses this fight, he'll fight Murray next.

What amazes me is the hatred you feel towards a young prospect! Are you a former opponent that's he's KOd or something? Is it jealousy? Racism? spit it out boy, well take the **** out of your mouth first, then spit it out.

You seem to like following me around these forums. I don't hate Khan at all, I think he is reasonably good for boxing in the UK; he does charity work and seems like a good lad (not behind the wheel). I also enjoy watching him fight.

I am neither jealous of Khan, nor am I a racist. Shame on you for bringing those accusations to the table.

I really duno where khan would go from here if he got KO'd....im sure that wont happen though....but i mean anythings possible...freddy seems way to confident about khan aswel and im sure he knows him better then any1 now...

But if that did happen it would also depend HOW it happened...but he would be in a very very bad position...
