Khan is the most overhyped fighter in the sport. Amir would have no chance against a top light welterweight like Bradley.

Unless there's some Frank Warren crooked stuff going on tomorrow, Kotelnik will surely win.

I think it could prove too early a step for Khan based on the limited showcases he's had for any improvement made since Prescott (badly overmatched ***an and badly inhibited Barrera).


But the opportunity is there for him to show he's come a long way, and I'd be happy for him if he won - there's a decent, talented kid inside the bubble of hype blown up around him.

And about the emphasis on Amir needing to convince in the build up to this one - any fair win over Kotelnik will be a triumph for Khan IMO. Should be a long, hard fight and Andriy shouldn't turn out to be any type of patsy even in a hometown setting for Khan.

What turns people off about Khan is how he's so overrated and overhyped.

We hear relatively little about BETTER young fighters like Brook, Mitchell and Cleverly.

The Brook and Mitchell fights aren't even being shown on the PPV.

If he gets KOed, his career is in huge trouble. People will give him the benefit of the doubt for Breidis Prescott but if he can't beat Kotelnik, who is the easiest match up in all the world class opposition at Jr welter or Lightweight, he's finished. It won't heppen though, what i want to see is Khan vs Valero or Maidana to see if his defense became good enough to protect his glass chin.

I genuinely think tonight is a really solid test of that to start. Kotelnik can hurt Khan.

If he comes through it and looks accomplished in that area, then his camp can start thinking about taking it to bigger punchers.

It's because he is British Tunney. The British tend to overrate the hell out of their fighters, and get them big money fights when they really do not deserve them. If Khan was American he would have had at least 5 KO losses by now, since he would fight tough competiiton and not get soft touches.
