Kotelnik is a handpicked fight for Khan. He should win tonight, i dont see Kotelnik a big threat for Khan, he's not the biggest of punchers and the only way i see him winning is via a decision. If he gets knocked out tonight then hell i didn't see it coming, he cannot get KO'd like that again and i dont expect him to get caught so flush if he has improved his defence. If he does then he has no hope...Kotelnik is featherfisted.

according to Khan, this guy he is fighting is the weakest world champion on Earth.

Khan will dispose of him within a couple of rounds I feel.

After saying that, Khan will look very bad if he loses today!

Don't know how you would figure that. Harder hitting, more aggressive opposition hasn't shifted Kotelnik. And Khan was always going to be throwing his combinations to point-scoring, more than knockout, effect against that durable an opponent.

I was leaning to Kotelnik based on my doubts over Khan's ability to hold up mentally, thought Amir might lapse from the plan and become ragged around the middle of the fight, ship some and then maybe get stopped late. But I left the door open for him to prove otherwise, and he did - really encouraging, accomplished performance in a genuinely worthy test. Great jab in doubles and triples, brought the combos out and tied up when he needed to.
Fun seeing Amir get caught with the occasional clean shot and responding pushing Kotelnik back with his flurries. On that, he seemed to disregard the jab a bit late on and start fighting too much, something he could get away with at that stage of the fight against Kotelnik but needs to be wary of with the more dangerous punchers - Roach's post-fight comments suggested they'll be working on that.

Really pleased for the kid, he deserved it.

Unless there's some Frank Warren crooked stuff going on tomorrow, Kotelnik will surely win.
Frank Warren crooked stuff last night Tunney? It was obvious that Khan was always going to win. Terrible match-up for Kotelnik.

I don't think he should go near the like of Ortiz or Maidana just yet, though.
