It's been 10 years. Just like it was 10 years for Oscar. This one is going to be ugly. Shane will get beat up. But hey, Pac will get credit because Shane offered the weight.

Cotto knows his limits, Shane should know his, but he's paper chasing. I guess people will do what they need to do, no matter the consequence.
10 years have passed since he made 135 but 5 extra lbs will make up for that even if shne at 75% hell take pac. pac imo just wont hurt shane, enough to keep him off but shane sure would hurt pac i saw pac shaking with hattons glazing blows, no way hed take mosleys sledgehammer punches , i see pac getting kod, i dont belive pacs chin that great to sustain welterweight power .

It's not that hard to grasp the concept of what's going on with the elite echelon of the WW's.

        - Cotto has one fight left with Top Rank. He may jump ship to GBP or stay on his own so, of course, Arum wants to get the most money out of him for his last fight. Thus, the Pacquiao fight will be made.

        - Pacquiao is not running away from anybody, but his preference is definitely not Cotto. He'd rather fight Mosley (because he can get more concessions out of him; like more money and 140 lbs.) or Mayweather before Manny loses to a Cotto or a Mosley and their dream matchup - which will happen in the future - loses some of its luster. Manny will end up fighting Cotto in November anyway.

        - Mosley knocked out an overrated Margarito who couldn't fight and beat elite guys - Mosley, Cotto, Pacquiao or P. Will - plaster free. We will see this when the Cotto rematch happens; because it definitely will. There's too much money on that one to let it go. Mosley is made out to be this monster because he knocked out a shell-shocked Margarito who: a) didn't have the same preparation and detrmination as for the Cotto fight; and b) was somewhat softened by Cotto. Regardless of the plaster situation, Margarito was able to take everything Cotto threw at him without being visibly stunned one single time. Whether he cheated or not, his chin and stamina are admirable. But he did take a lot of punches during that fight. I think Mosley won't ever again look as good as he did against Margo. He went for 11 close rounds with a shot Mayorga less than a year ago before knocking him out in the 12th. He looked awful in that fight. Heed my word, Mosley will lose his next fight unless he fights a bum.

        - And for Paul Williams, nobody wants to fight poor Paul at welterweight. NOBODY! Even my boy Miguel "Fearless" Cotto. He's just too good. He's better off going to MW and fighting "The Vanilla Ghost" Pavlik.

Roach already said they were KILLING pac just to make 135 and that 140 would be their best weight, Manny isnt the little guy that some people like to claim on here.

you fail! pac officially weighed 138 lbs against hatton.

he thoroughly pounded hoya, at 147, i agree every fight is difficult, but given pac dominance and recent history of facing only previously kod guys ,he is a coward for not facing mosley
mosley isn't even in pac's weight division. who can you be a coward for not facing someone that is not in your weight division?

for instance mosley smaller and older than delahoya was ,but team pac knows that mosley isnt shot thats where the cowardice comes in, no excuse 140lbs37 years old pac doesnt take that fight he is very much an opportunistic fighter and cowardly in his opponent selection.
pac started at 106 lbs. if he's fighting above 140 lbs, he needs to be picky. calling him a coward is dumb.

no. pac is not a full blown WW.

Sorry but this has desperacy written all over it, If this was about legacy then Mosley would chase bigger challenges not pac.

anybody who beats those guys shouldnt get credit huh? & thats just other greats knocking out other greats. very very small sample.

what about greats that got knocked by lesser fighters?

stop with the selective scrutiny. u fail brah.
dont act dumb ,dont get smart, isnt or ever was at the level of pac, hatton was kod by fraud, weak chin , oscar old thats 3 fights in a row brah, how much more history do you needs brah? huh brah? i didnt say pac has never faced top guys , but since jmm he hasnt. do you think its fair to shell out 70 buks for a fight against david diaz or hatton ? and now another foregone conclusion fight and equally previously ko'd guy in cotto , thats not honest brah sometimes brah a cigar is just a cigar, ut you right i cant stand pac because hes being protected , and i just dont buy it brah

And what did Pac weigh on fight night??? And am not comparing pac to any WW just pointing out that pac isnt 16 years old anymore and how him and his team confesses to struggling to make weight at 135.
