true...Clottey is def looking to rebound after his close loss to Cotto.

Clottey is trying to rebound, but Shane is mad and wants to get what he deserves. Honestly Clottey is soft or has bad stamina to me. That was known in fights with Cotto and Margo. I just don't think he has the workrate or killer in him to beat Shane. Clottey is that young either. Is he like 33 which is still a little old in boxing.

Considering that the #2 in that equation beat both fighters, I can't see how Golden Ring could possibly justify putting their magazine title on the line for this fight.

But all that's under the assumption that we believe this fight is really happening. The news report is the same misguided bull**** that regularly comes out of that corner of the world anytime an African fighter feels like talking for a minute.

Remember when Kassim Ouma was fighting for the title Oscar was going to vacate shortly after beating Mayorga?

Or that DeMarco-Adjaho was getting scrapped because Shaw was saving Antonio for the title Edwin Valero is going to vacate?

          Yeah, me neither.

This would be a pretty good fight. Hope it happens.

But he is still #3 in the divison. If Pac beats Cotto by KO, he will lose his ranking at #2, because its a WW fight. Won't he? That will move Clotte to #2

No because Cotto beat Clottey and Clottey has never faced Pacquiao.

This simply proves Shane Mosley cannot beat top american fighters
This post simply proves that Paul Williams will never need to wear a protective cup. He will always have the back of your head to protect his junk.
