Makes more sense than fighting Berto IMO Clottey fought a tough fight against Cotto and a few people (I am not included) think he won that fight. Clottey is more seasoned and a win against him makes more realivence then Berto who everyone think Mosley should beat easily....Lefty

if this is true then clottey took less money than what was offered to berto. good ssm vs clottey is a much better fight. then the winner face berto vs collazo. unify those ww titles.

They way he (Clottey) preformed against Cotto makes his stock more expensive...He deserves a fight like this...win or lose i hope it turns out to be a great fight

Is there a chance that this fight could be for the Ring Belt? He beat Margo who was #1 who and Clottey is #3. The Cotto rematch may not happen anytime soon. If he loses to Pac would he lose his ranking?

I'ma be the first to say, when ur 37-38 years old,Clottey is not the man u want to fight, especially after he just lost a fight he could have won!!I have a feeling Clottey might pull the upset,Clottey is fast, when he throws and he is easily as strong as Mosley,I'm not liking this matchup for Shane!!

No because Clottey has no belts and lost his last fight.

Shane just beat "the man to beat @147" Margarito...age aside i believe he has a chance to beat Clottey...Shane also has speed and power to match which i believe is better than Clottey.

Damn that avatar of yours pimp!!!!!

But he is still #3 in the divison. If Pac beats Cotto by KO, he will lose his ranking at #2, because its a WW fight. Won't he? That will move Clotte to #2

I'm not saying Clottey is stronger,I just don't like this matchup is all,Mosley still has the punch to over power come forward sluggers, but boxers with good skills at this point in his career, especially who has a chip on his shoulders type of guy in Clottey, makes for a tough matchup at 36-37 years old,It's not a fight I would bet on,that's for sure!!
