Ese tipo es un lambon! Despues de tanto tiempo viene a buscar chavos?Mere, vallase a meterle las cabras a otro.... I doubt they're going to give him anything for the altercation between the two... If he wanted to do something he should have done it back then not months later...He refused to press charges back then. This guy's a joke.

Cotto should sue his azz for Negligence! Who didnt do their job and may have possibly cost cotto 20 million dollars.

After that Cotto stayed for a moment at the Gym trying to calm things down and they even shook their hands. That's when Cotto left the Gym thinking that his uncle was calmed, just to find out that his uncle had followed him on his way back to the apartment and threw a construction cement block, not a tiny brick, a block, at his driving side windshield of Cotto's brand new Jacguar.
Police got to the scene and reported these actions but left the decision to the justice dept. wethere or not they would go against whoever had quilt in this matter because after the Police officers initial investigation, they were willing to take Evangelista to the police station and present charges but Cotto did not want to accuse his uncle.
After the police report was presented to the justice dept. they decided to hear both sides, so both Cotto and his Uncle had to go to court to try to convince the DA that no charges should be presented and that none of the parties were interested in follow thru an both, Cotto and his uncle, convinced the DA dept. not to create any case.

This is a sad family story that we knew would might happen, but with all the evidence and the background of Evangelista (remember he had issues during a fight, with Cotto's brother) I really doubt that he will have success in this sue against Cotto. The most he could probably get from this is have Cotto pay him, what ever he owes him, if he owes him. On the other hand if Cotto has evidence that he doesn't owe him he can counter this sue and it could get worst for Evangelista.

                Very Sad Story!!!!
Im glad you put this info up. Thats exactly what I've heard as well. Its unfortunate but Evangelista is the one that is going for payback. For the last few fights he was getting paid for not doing much of anything, seeing as him and Cotto were not even on speaking terms. He's brought Cotto up and he gets mad respect for that but his time is over and he needs to find a new fighter instead of disrespecting the one's he has - for example his terrible treatment of Mario Santiago. Evangelista is done as a big-time trainer and he knows it. Especially now that all the other fighters in his stable (for example "el artesano") are contractually tied to Miguel's promotional company and will obviously go elsewhere for trainers.

In the end, Miguel will probably decide to give him some payoff money to get rid of him even though Evangelista doesnt deserve it. THis is what Evangelista is mostly likely aiming for anyway. He has no chance of winning this in court.

Sad but true but it is very difficult to do business with family
and this coming from experience. Family is already emotionally
linked so when the intensity of the business world comes into
play then it's DRAMA! Not too many families can work together
and stay peacefully progressive like the Wayans.

This is looking bad for cotto not for the fact that hes getting sued because there a really slim chance of his uncle actually getting anything out of him but for the reason of a distraction from his career. Even if cotto can win the court case its still going to take up a lot of his time.
