This is the perfect POST right here. He would have fought all of them in their prime, and if he would have beaten half of them, he would be considered greater then he is to the REAL boxing fans. It's just Brits overrate him because they dont have many good fighters all time.

We wouldn't think highly of him at all..especially considering America's great boxing heritage.

        Think before you type m8.

Jones, Hopkins, Toney and Tarver where never in Calzaghe's division prime or otherwise.

Toney for example was fighting at Cruiserweight by the time Calzaghe won a title.

Go look at Glen johnsons "prime" SMW record before mentioning his name.

Windmilling your opponents isnt all that to me. LOL.
his title run is overrated. Fought many journeymen for a Chump belt. (WBO) how are you gonna have the WBO for ten years before trying to unify. Doesn't make sense.

Hopkins fought Johnson when Johnson was undefeated. Fought Jones when jones was entering his prime. Fought Tarver when Tarver was the man.

And Toney, i understand, nobody in MW to LW could fight him because he didn't train and just kept getting fatter.

It took Hopkins almost as long to unify the middleweight division.........against a welterweight.
