No shame to losing Margarito, I agree. But taking two knees when you were called a warrior is embarrassing. Before Cotto/Margarito, Cotto hype was overboard. Cotto breaks men, Cotto doesn't beat you he beats you UP. Rememeber all that hype. Instead of going out like a warrior he choose the Cowardly way out.

There was one good thing about Williams he MADE Margarito fight him, and could do the same thing with Cotto who is a bigger draw and bigger name but chooses not to. Lost to Margarito was nasty, Cotto took two knees, does it mean he's done? Obviously no, he came back to beat Clottey, who got a draw in my book vs Margo and is been ducked by the most avoided fighter in the planet, Williams. LOL

Clottey got a draw against Margarito IMO, but Williams BEAT Margarito. See the difference there.

Williams simply did more at WW than Gomez/Clottey. Williams is the greater win, Wiliams was ranked 2 when Cotto was one. That could have been for the ring title

Floyd didn't start at 140 or 147 Luis. There is no one in boxing who has better resume, that is why he is the best in this era!

And again, Judah and Bladomir were ranked #1 and # 2 at WW when he fought them! Hatton was a top fighter in the sport period and lostless when Floyd beat him. He didn't know how to lose before that!!!!

Most elite fighters dont really care about belts, they have been there and done it. Its big fights and names that count. Cotto has beaten fighers who were champs in the past and have retaken belts. Btw cottos cv at WW is far superior than floyds, even though floyd is the better fighter, maybe floyd die hards should get on floyds case and tell him to stop talking and start fighting
