Floyd picks Pacquiao over Cotto

Id say floyd saying that pac will never get 50/50 in a fight with him is just posturing. Camps put out a position and thats where the hard negeotiations begin. Pac does it too, the hatton fight was on/off before it was signed. Pac at the moment deserves 50/50 and if he beats cotto, then it could be argued that he should actually get more than 50%, but overall i think 50/50 is right for this fight. Two of the biggest stars in the game with an even split sounds about right. Floyds performance and numbers against marquez will be inportant too
As for common opponents and numbers. When hatton fought floyd hatton was undefeated and there was a buzz about the fight. Floyd exposed ricky as a good but not great fighter. When hatton and pac came around i knew pac would win so i ended up watching that fight online, as did many others. Floyd may have more of a point with de la hoya, but it could also be argued that his ship had also sailed after being beaten by floyd and putting in a poor performance against forbes. Floyd got to de la hoya and hatton first and pac well and truely finished them off, a kind of one two of the brutal kind.

And again, Judah and Bladomir were ranked #1 and # 2 at WW when he fought them! Hatton was a top fighter in the sport period and lostless when Floyd beat him. He didn't know how to lose before that!!!!
cotto has never beat a champ ever!!!!! Don't that bother you?
