floyd is a higherweight fighter. he is american. there should really be no competition. that fact that there is even one show a lot about what pacquiao has accomplished.

first, i think much of the draw was marquez(there is a huge spanish market in US like there is a huge klitschko market in europe). 2nd, the 24/7 thing helped - more exposure = more promotion = more known interest. 3rd, if anything, people wanna see pbf beaten, not watch his stunningly boring yet technically amazing boxing performances.

Pacquiao was "just some little guy" to the public.

Hatton vs Pacquiao did essentially the same as Floyd vs Hatton because it happened during the recession and was very close still.

If a fight does happen Pacquiao will probably by then be the bigger draw, he's more exciting and more people talk about him these days.

someone post some of Floyds numbers at 130 and 135 and compare them to Pacquiaos fights with Marquez, Barrera and Diaz. Just curious. lol

I think the fight should be 50-50. maybe 60-40 for Pacquiao since he's the p4p top dog right now, but that won't happen.
I disagree, Pacquiao vs. EM I, II and III. Pacquiao vs. MAB, Pacquiao vs. JMM I and II. Before DLH, Mayweather vs Baldomir did 325K. Pacquiao isn't unknown. He was HUGE and is even bigger now. No ****!

Has nothing to do with that. Pacquiao was still very known, he was on the under card to Mayweather vs Jesus Chavez. He may have not been as big but his fights against Marquez, Morales and Barrera made him an even bigger star. Isn't Mayweather suppose to be hated/ disliked/ boring? And Pacquiao, ALOT more entertaining and loved?
