I don't know he's not a quitter, its my opinion that he wouldn't be. Call it a hunch.

He has fought better opposition and Cotto fought a lot of guys Mayweather did after they started to slide

Mayweather: Corrales(in his prime), Castillo(in his prime) , Ricky Hatton(undefeated at the moment), Oscar De La Hoya(on the slide but fight was at 154) Zab Judah(on the slide but still a good fighter), Arturo Gatti(good fighter and many picked him to give PBF a tough fight, R.I.P.)

just to name a few ^

Look, I can't stand Floyd, but you can't begrudge him what he's already proven. I want to see him fight the best welters too, but he's already faced the best at 130 and 135 and taken on a couple of other dangerous fights. What happens if he's never in that war you want to see him tested in? what happens if he's just to slick? Does that mean he doesn't have heart? I would LOVE to see him in a give and take type of war. If it doesn't happen though.....its not proof he doesn't have heart inside that ring.

And in case you think Im defending him, ask some of his most loyal supporters on here what I think of him.

                  Mayweather fought Zab Judah first.

And yep, nice list, 3 big names there, shame he lost to Margarito though.

Those are very good wins but you said Mayweather by far and those aren't that impressive. Cotto can beat anyone on that list. So Mayweather by a VERY small margin. Oh almost forgot, Castillo beat Mayweather the first time.

This is why Cotto fans are the most dumbest boixing fans. Mayweather fought Judah way before Cotto did. Mayweather didn't resort to dirty tactics like low blows to beat Judah
