There's not a single name greater than Shane Mosley in Mayweather's resume. Cotto has fought the much better competition.

Overall, Mr boat buyer has put in better work. His bull**** the last few yrs has made cats forget about his dominance at lower weights. Cotto outdoes him at 140-147 tho. Cotto got more heart now, but Mr boat buyer was a beast BITD.

This is why Cotto fans are the most dumbest boixing fans. Mayweather fought Judah way before Cotto did. Mayweather didn't resort to dirty tactics like low blows to beat Judah

just shows how many people actually follow the sport on this forum and how many read stats and obviously read them wrong......

floyd has the better resume overall....people seem to forget that cotto has only fought at 2 weight classes....floyd has fought at 5....that alone trumps cotto's.....and let's remember all of the big names who openly ducked floyd....hatton in 2005, shane and oscar in---well, just put any year in prior to 2007.....you could even say winky wright in 2005---zab judah in 2005---you could argue kosta, but i feel in those circumstances i won't put him...gatti ducked floyd when gatti had a lot of momentum on his side, back in 1998-----acelino freitez ducked floyd also back in 2001 and 2002....cassamayor, not so much...i really dont' know that fight didn't happen....

but floyd openly insulted cotto at a training camp and claimed he would lose to floyd if he fought him.....cotto's team and bob arum squashed that quick didn't they...add to this, cotto being in attendance of mayweather/bruseles and mayweather/gatti, scoping out floyd and keeping his mouth shut, like he is still doing to this day.....i'm tired of giving this history lesson to people....floyd will fight cotto, shane, or pacquiao next---we'll see what he does to them...beat either one of their asses he will do though....

floyd has never taken kness, because he has never been in trouble like that....which is why he has been so dominant.....cotto has fought through adverse situations but i can't compare their hearts because first of all, they are both in a brutal sport.....

so when comparing hearts---you have to take into account---cotto fighting through injuries like cuts, broken noses, knockdowns

and you have to take into account----floyd fighting at 5 weight classes, fighting with injuries like broken hands, injured rotator cuffs, broken ribs, and fighting guys who outweight him by 15 to 20 lbs, and fighting through good shots landed on him......and let's not forget his ego, pride, and confidence---he has called out publicly many of the top fighters----and they ducked him either openly or behind the scenes......

I'd say Floyd has faced better opposition people only hate on him because of his welter stint and he beat the lineal and former lineal champs there before going for big pay days and even went up to 154 to face DLH.

As for heart I'd give it to Floyd again he's fought through broken hands and a busted shoulder to still win fights and when his decision over Castillo was disputed he went back and fought him again....Cotto has a lot of heart but the Margarito beating really puts a big downer on him for heart IMO

Problem is people only want Floyd to lose that hate on him, they don't care to who they just want him to lose. Unlike Cotto Floyd doesn't get hit and can apply defense to win the fight. People claim Floyd runs yet he can fight very good moving backwards and counterpunching. Cotto runs and doesn't throw, he can't fight gong backwards so he can't counter and his defense is suspect anyway. Same people claim Cotto fought Clottey with a cut eye, he always ghets cut in every big fight he bleeds from his eyes and mouth. Yet it was an excuse for Clottey making him look bad in a fight that Cotto was allowed to body slam & rabbit punch. Floyd mops the floor with Cotto thats why BOB won't let Floyd near him, BOB can just say Floyd won't fight them and those sheep believe him that easy. Floyd has more heart, just because he is so much more skilled than anyone else and is able to avoid getting hit doesn't mean he has no heart it just means he's smarter faster and more talented than anyone he has ever faced.

we can just x-ray them both to see who has a bigger heart; the logistics in getting that to happen could prove to be quite the undertaking.
