He gets press whenever he's got fight buzz, like right now.

Nothing real negative after the Froch loss; the tone was mainly one of pride for his gutsy performance and disappointment in the way it ended, with constructive criticism of his stamina and decision to mix it up in the final round instead of play it safe.

What's your opinion on Shields? Good or bad fit for Taylor?

It doesn't matter who he trains with. Taylor will never get back to the status he once had.

                  Ronnie's biggest fighter was Pernell.

                    look

                    Jermaine must stop drinking

his stamina problems and his chin giving in are from drinking

its that simple that people who have plenty of brain fluid (from not drinking and not ***ing) dont get nearly as fatigued and have good chins

There is a lot of truth to what you say. I remember thinking the same thing about Mike Tyson after the Lennox fight. With Mike it was also a lot of weed and coke that deteriorated his body, stamina and will.

On the issue of trainer though. Don't forget that Ronnie also trained Evander for many years. Ronnie is a very technically sound trainer who breaks down film very well. I think though, for Jermain, it is a bad fit because Ronnie is not going to baby sit anybody into getting into shape. Pat Burns was the best fit for Jermain because Pat was able to motivate Jermain and control camp. Burns laid down a regimen and insisted that Jermain follow that regimen.
