anyway, Juan Diaz was a good win, but at this point its starting to get overrated after the fact.

I disagree, completely.

David Diaz was the weakest link @ 135, and a paper Champion who should've lost his title to the mummified version of Erik Morales who spanked his ass before finally retiring.

Juan Diaz was the younger, hungrier, fiercer #1 contender who had only lost to Campbell at the time, and had just got done schooling Katsidis.

Both have 1 loss before they fought Pac & JMM

JD against old Nate while DD against Holt (junior welterweight)

JD won via SD against Katsidis while DD TKO'd Santacruz
