    A serious floyd jr. Question

What if...and a BIG IF....Floyd gets beaten, by WHOEVER, this "Money" Version of Floyd disappears, and the "Old Hungry" Floyd comes back?

Scenario: Floyd takes on Mosley, loses via UD. Floyd has some kind of epiphany and loses the "money money money" mentality and wants to avenege the Loss so bad, that he actually starts to realize the potential and greatness that EVERYONE expected from him. Comes back to soundfully UD Mosely and other top WW and JMW.....boxes for another 4-5 years, cements his Legacy and rides off into the sunset retired AND RICH.

Maybe he NEEDS to be beaten, for the sake of boxing and for his Legacy.....remember....real champions and legends are remembered for their battles...not for their records and the size of their wallet.

Just something that I was thinking....think about it....what real LEGEND or CHAMPION didn't have flaws in their game or went un-defeated.....**** Michael Jordan was dunked on by John Starks in a Playoff Game, Kevin Johnson ****ted on "The Dream" in a Playoff game, Ali had losses, Frazier had losses, Lebron "supposedly" got dunked on (sorry had to throw that in there).

My opinion.....Floyd needs to "lose"...in order to come out of boxing a "winner".

If Mr boat buyer gets beat, he's gonna retire. I'm afraid we've lost the Mr boat buyer of old for good.

As soon as he gets beat once he will lose his mental strength.

he looks like the kind of guy, that wont stan losing to the point of crying.

      Just like hammed.!!!!!!!!!!!

Mangler...I've always respected your opinions and replys on here...

So your thinking is that IF Floyd loses...we can all kiss him good bye for good? If that is the case...SOME REAL CHAMP HE TURNED OUT TO BE....

Ch@mp....so your thoughts are same as Mangler's?

Once he has been beaten....he will have lost any mental edge over his opponents? And yes...just like Hammed....what a waste of talent AND marketability....at least we know Prince wasn't in it for the $$$...

I think you may be on to something.
If Floyd is beaten, that may center him and focus him and motivate him to work to his ATG potential.

Quite possibly. But you never know how a fighter'll react to losing until it happen I suppose.

He'd probably be more popular for losing, funnily enough

I have said this in the past. I think losing will make him hungry or possibly just being pushed in a tough fight may force him to be the old Floyd.
