As much as I would like to get on Floyd for being greedy... he is actually right! If you ALL put yourselves in his shoes...why would you settle for less than 60%?? Especially when you "left" the p4p throne to Pacman... I agree that if you leave then you have to earn your way up the rankings as does anyone else...but honestly I would be willing to bet that more people "want" to se Floyd lose more than people "want" to see Pac win. At this point Floyd is the PPV king since DLH has left.

Bob Arum is really pissing me off.. First with the infamous "Cotto is still too green" comment that prevented the Floyd v Cotto bout back in the day... Now he is pre-negotiating by saying Pac v Floyd will only happen if Pac gets 60%?!?! Honestly I think they should do a 60 to the winner, 40 to the loser bout. It makes sense and will keep both fighters on their edge. This is still premature however because Floyd hasn't fought Marquez yet and Pac will probably get annihilated by Cotto....

      Setting up......

Wow even a number of DIEHARD Floyd fans agree that a 50-50 split is fair. Could it be Floyds method of not allowing a fight to happen by wanting more of the pie? Maybe...

I read from an article a few months ago though that Pacman would take the smaller share 40-60 in favor of Floyd just to make the fight happen. Pac really doesnt need the lions share, he's making a killing off his Nike endorsements and all those commercials in the Philippines. Fans trust me Pac will take the small cut in order to make this fight happen.

if either of them care about LEGACY, and being an ATG... Then they will take this fight...

If not, **** the both of them... I could care less about them....

But look, money is money and legacy is legacy.... Every kid that grows up wishes to be the greatest of all time, EVERY KID.....

Okay make you money, you deserve it... But dont go around, saying you want to be the best when you arent even making the attempt to do it....

If you are not fighting for legacy and only money, leave... Fans, and the court of public opinion dont want that.....

We have fighters like Paul that are willing to go up and down in the name of legacy.... Fighters like Pac, Cotto, and others that do it for greatness.... NOT FOR MONEY....
Im not saying Floyd deserves something like 70/30, but he shouldnt get the smaller or even 50/50 based on history, which is all we have to go on, its very obvious. Put yourself in your work situation and look at it from that point of view, Id be fuming if someone came to me with an offer any different. But I can see how fans would get mad, its robbing them of a fight, but he isnt the fan, rather the participant.

**** Mayweather. This guy hasn't fought in 2 ****ing years and he thinks he's still king at the box office??? He needs to worry about selling tickets to the Marquez fight. Once Pac/Cotto does more buys than PBF/JMM there will be no way to twist who the bigger draw is. Mayweather should feel lucky to get 50/50 with Pacman. In all honesty it's sounding like Floyd don't want the fight at all. If he won't fight Pacman next for a lower cut who does he fight? I know it ain't gonna be Mosley. Perhaps Cotto if he beats Pacman.

                  he ain't available anyway.

if floyd didn't sign a fight before pac-hatton then maybe you could say that.
Neither fighter is willing to take 50%, therefore robbing the fans of potentially the biggest fight of the decade, therefore they are being stubborn

Are you ******ed? Eric Gomez Vice president of GBP has already proclaimed Pacman has taken over Oscar as the cash cow in boxing.

More people want to see Pacman FIGHT than Mayweather period.

If this fight doesnt happen because of this 50/50 bull****... I will have more respect for Victor Ortiz than I do for Floyd....PERIOD....
