What do boxing fans think of Mixed Martial Arts?

I know there are basicly 3 groups. People that know about it and like it, people that know about it and dislike it, and thoses that have no idea what I am talking about.

Actually, there are a couple of other people that could challenge for that title. Mainly B.J Penn and Fedor Emelianenko. Randy is still a great choice for p4p though.

I like both boxing and MMA. Randy Couture and BJ Penn are my favorite MMA fighters. BJ Penn's one round destruction of Matt Hughes is a classic.

martial arts are gay. all you people like to do is watch half naked men fight and grapple each other.

Penn is a very dangerous man because he has great hands and is a wizard on the ground. However, he sometimes gets burnt out and doesn't train like he should. He might be too good for his own good.

Thats what happend to Hughes actually. He walked threw everyone and took B.J really lightly (it was Penns first fight at 170) and he got owned. A re-match would be interesting.

Yeah a rematch would be awesome...I still think Penn would own Hughes again in my opinion...I also like when Penn knocked the **** out of Caol Uno in like 20 seconds-that was a devestating combo...Uno looked like a rag doll getting hit with free shots.

Yeah, that was a great knockout. Uno was out after that first shot and the Penn just blitzed him. However, in the re-match Uno looked a lot better and the fight ended in a draw, although Penn should of won 48-47 according to most people watching the fight. That includes me.

Hughes and Penn are just as talented, but have very different skill sets. Penn with his speed and jiu jitsu, Hughes with his power and wrestling. They will fight again one day. As soon as B.J Penn and Dana White kiss and make up.

That's a classic too in your avatar when Lidell knocked the hell out of Ortiz...a true vulgar display of ultra violence.
