I love MMA just as much as I love boxing. However I know slightly more about boxing than I do MMA. Welcome to Boxing Scene MMA members.

Thanks yo. My answer is basically the same as yours. I, like most was introduced to MMA after boxing due to the relative ages of the two but I like em both. I like seein beatings ... especially if I ain't the one getting beat up!

I love mma and boxing both, but I'd have to say that after the way decisions in boxing became so apparently currupt on such an obvious and grand scale I like mma a bit more than boxing now. I hate it when a big time boxing match goes to the scorecards anymore, because it seems that no matter who the fighters or the judges are the decisions are suspect.

As far as Matt Hughes and Bj Penn go they will probably never have a chance to rematch after the falling out Bj had with Zuffa, But if they do get to fight again I'd have to go with Hughes by split dec.(I actually thought Matt lost when he fought Charuto,)(Penn's trainer)

Tito was a good, and I stress the word good, not great champion while he held the title. But I just haven't seen him get any better in the last 3 years, he has imo actually become one of if not the most boring fighters in the UFC, and if him and Chuck go again look for the same result to happen only sooner!

Chuck and Randy II will be a real good fight to judge exactly how much better the Iceman has gotten, since there first fight he has been on an impressive roll imo, but so has Randy. That frikin dude has to be imo the most phenomenal athlete that there has ever been in combat sports. I keep waiting for him to show the signs of being the fighter that got old overnight as they say, but **** he just keeps getting better. In this fight I'm gonna go with Randy by UD

I like K1, especially on those rare times elbows are allowed. I can't stand it when it goes to ground and all they're doing is having some loving

            Lol

Actually, I don't think K-1 ever allows elbows. Muay thai on the other hand, you see elbows all the time there. Eblows, knees in the clinch......its pretty burtal stuff.

I haven't seen too much MMA; mainly just what I've downloaded on this site.

I see people talking about K-1 and UFC; I ordered a DVD for 2 bucks of the IFC - a disc called Caged Combat but I haven't watched it yet.

Where does that fed rank amongst the others?

The IFC is a smaller orginzation, but they have given a lot of good fighters a start in thier career. Some good fights too. You will find there are more burtal beatings in these smaller shows because they still aren't sure who has the goods yet. The IFC DVD is definitly worth a watch.

MMA is cool. I've only seen a few events but they were very entertaining. I agree though that if they spend too much time grapling for position it gets tiresome. I've also seen K-1 and liked that as well. I guess I'm trying to avoid watching another sport where you have to pay to watch on top of Cable prices.

To be honest I only get Eurosport and it's either billed as K1 or Fight Club, which covers a multitude of sins. When the annoying commentator, Will Vanders, gets rambling on I tend to switch off. Although I'm certain I saw Ignashov on there giving it some elbow to someone
