    100 is too small.

i was 100 in elementary school.

i actually like mma's weight divisions.

    heavyweight 206-over , light heavyweight 186-205 , middleweight 171-185 , welterweight 156-170 , lightweight 146-155 , featherweight 136-145 , bantamweight 126-135 , flyweight 125-under

times have changed and people have gotten bigger. it doesn't make sense to have all these guys who walk around at 130 fight at 108.

also maybe make a cruiserweight 206-225 division and make 225-over heavyweight.

These weight classes are a mockery to our great sport. The difference are minimal and pointless. What is the point of having weight classes when the difference is just 4 to 3 pounds. All weight classes should have a minimum 5 pounds difference. Gaining and losing 4 to 3 pounds is nothing.

      IMO it should be

      105
      110
      115
      120
      125
      130

      What are you thoughts
3-4 lbs makes a big difference on small guys.

people have been the same size since the 70's. They have just gained fat. the newest heavyweights have similar or even smaller reaches and similar heights.

Look how big Ali and Foreman look now when they gain chub. I agree though, the era before that seemed to have smaller men. Probably because they didn't do weights.

208 Chambers beat 256 Dimniertko, so HW is perfect the way it is now

              i don't know about that.

i think people have gotten taller as well as bigger.

let me do a unscientific poor man's study.

1 guy doesn't make it alright.

we need a separate division for the 6'4 230 and 6'7 250 crowds.

                  No I don't think so.

Wladimir was KO'D 6'2 Brewster, 6'4 Sanders and the Great 6'3 Puritty. Dropped 3 times by 6'2 Peters.

A quick, powerful 215 HW can easily beat a HUGE 6'7 250 fighter

vic darchinyan could crack wlad's china if you let him stand on a stool.
