Careful son, careful.From 105 to 130.
130 lb (59.0 kg)
126 lb (57.2 kg)
122 lb (55.3 kg)
118 lb (53.5 kg)
115 lb (52.2 kg)
112 lb (50.8 kg)
108 lb (49.0 kg)
105 lb (47.6 kg)
These weight classes are a mockery to our great sport. The difference are minimal and pointless. What is the point of having weight classes when the difference is just 4 to 3 pounds. All weight classes should have a minimum 5 pounds difference. Gaining and losing 4 to 3 pounds is nothing.
IMO it should be
105
110
115
120
125
130
What are you thoughts

But, you're missing the point. Weight in boxing is not about the actual amount of pounds, it's about the percentage of weight you have to lose.
These are grown men, it's a lot harderr to get to the weights then you would imagine.
When someone goes on a diet, you always hear, 'The last couple of pounds are always the hardest.'
This is that.... times 10.Comment

are you ******ed? thats 10 pound gap between weight classes at lower weights, someone could potentially weigh in at 106 and fight a dude who weighs in at 115, and with day before weigh ins the gap could become even worse
as someone who boxes around those lower weights, i can tell you between two evenly skilled fighters that kind of weight is a big factor, and then the 20 pound gap between 140 and 160, thats just ******Comment

I can't even imagine how hard it is to dedicatedly keep yourselves at those weights. I see guys at 5'6 120 and I think holy crap, I'm 5'6 and in decent shape and I couldn't imagine being 120 pounds.Comment

from getting his head stuck up his ass.
