no nonsense fighter,he had a fantastic slugfest with pascal for the title & follows that up by coming to the states for his first defence against jermain Taylor.now he's in the tourney with 5 of the best.he has a good chin, big heart & will fight anyone, anywhere.he may not have the best skill in the tourney but he has momentum coming off 2 huge wins.first pascal(wbc lightheavyweight champ) & then a come from behind 12th round knockout of the former undisputed middleweight champion.what's not to like? He's the type of boxer/brawled the public craves.if you don't want to watch his fights you are either just a hater or you have a limited boxing mind.he's 32 & actually wants to be the best & refuses to fight any softies since winning the belt.he also climbed the ladder to earn his title shot not like many others with promoters with endless money supply.

I love guys that can take a good punch and also deliver a good punch also, And froch falls into that category for me, Even though they have limited skills/slick they made up for it in grit, I would alway appreciate guys like him and Margarito.

The same thing that made Calzaghe an "ATG". His manager and reaching his 30's with his 0 intact. That's all it takes if you are from around there. Different ball game son. I recon he's gonna try seal off his ATG deal with a win vs a random 40 year old, or a couple and retire.

Totally agree with your post, Especially the highlighted bit.....Most fighters under froch's promoter(Mick hennessy) have to earn their shot the hard way, they had to fought for years without any recognition or acclaim so i dont envy him getting talked about finally.....especially the way he went about his last two opponents.

He was an unknown Bum from the UK that no one had heard of and once Jermain dispatched of him no one would ever hear of him again...

                Fortunetly Froch had other plans...

I support Froch because I thought his win over jermain was major. Go Froch!
