Imo his last 2 fights a total war with Pascal and fantastic win over an elite like Jermain Taylor in the dudes backyard. He ain't one of these hype job fighters either i live in England and had not heard a thing about him before he actually did something worthwhile. Unlike guys like Ortiz, Khan etc..

Great chin/good power and great fights and wants to fight the best!! whats not to like!!

Undefeated a good chin , decent world champion .Coming off 2 good wins and good fights for boxing.Pascal fight was full of action and the Taylor fight probably comeback of the year.Probably still plenty more to come from Froch

See if you can get hold of his fight with Pascal. As Ray Corey said, Its hard not to like fighters like this. Pascal also gets a shed load of respect as well.

You could say that about many fighters. If Nunn wouldnt have gassed against Toney he would have won. If Meldrick Taylor....and so on.

You have to respect the fact that as regards the Taylor fight,he managed to do something many fighters need but only a handful can manage, and that is to go into the last round needing the KO and actually making it happen. That is a fighter!

IMO in boxing, you need both the slick, evasive, gifted technical boxers and the strong, tough, determined, gutsy sluggers. Froch is a good example of the latter, what's not to like? He said he'd take Jermain into the deeper waters and drown him, and that's exactly what he did.

                theres nothing special about froch

any fighter with a good chin, good workrate and some inkling of boxing skills would easily UD him. calzaghe would have had a field day with him, froch is tailor made for calzaghe slow open and delusional. he seems to think hes stronger and quicker than he actually is.

froch however is an exciting fighter, he comes to fight has two big wins over pascal and JT and is good to watch. but imo hes only going to last a few more years so enjoy him while you can.

i think froch is a truth fighter, if you haven't been doing your roadwork he will find out, if theres hype behind your strength or quickness he will find out and if you're a good fighter making ourself out to be better than you are he will find you out.

froch imo is a gate keeper whos enjoying some title success and because of his style i dont think anyone would begrudge him of it.

Yea.. but he didn't hold on and win an SD because Froch wore him down and brutally TKO'd him. Judges are only there in case nobody gets KO'd ... people seem to forget that sometimes.

'Exposed' by who? There is nothing in Froch to 'expose', we already know he has limited skill, but a granite chin and a great heart. Will that be enough? Who really knows?

                    A little harsh maybe,but a good analysis.
