I hope it's not true.one of my alltime favorites.the meani g of tough as nails,never say die attitude.this guy had more guts than anyone I ever saw in the ring.war after war.thrilled us all in so many matches.he got more out of less than any other boxer in history.marginal skill set but the heart of an army.R.I.P champ & thanks for the memories...strange but why does this not surprise me? He partied as hard as he boxed & was known to hang around the wrong crowd in Montreal,Atlanta & I'm sure in a place like brazil it was easy to find trouble!
