With the live gate and German TV revenues combined, Pavlik could probably still make a career high pay day fighting Sturm in Germany. And regarding the hometown decision problem, all he has to do is insist during the negotiations that the ref and judges are all international (not from Germany, Bosnia or the US, and respected and experienced).

And any genuine boxing fans in the US care about the best fighting the best, and with Abraham gone, Sturm is the only meaningful fight for Pavlik at Middleweight. Any US fan who doesn't care about that match-up happening isn't a true boxing fan.

And Clottey (until Cotto decided to give him a shot).

And he does badly over-protect some of his top fighters, preventing fans from seeing the fights they want to see.

So Clottey gets 3 big HBO fights with Cotto, Margarito and Judah while with Bob Arum and that's not good enough?

What has PWill gotten? Margarito, Quintana and Winky.

Soto is still promoted really well, it's not Arum's fault that Soto ****ed up with Guzman and now Arum is getting him the Linares fight too.

You're right about the Linares-Soto fight potentially going down. But it was Arum who screwed Soto out of those shots at Pacquiao. And even though he lost to Guzman, he made that fight a little bit competitive by landing the harder shots and causing bad swelling under Guzman's eye. Soto was the more crowd pleasing fighter trying to press the action in that fight even though he got outslicked. You can't tell me that De La Hoya and Barrera (who just showed up for a paycheck) were more dangerous opponents than Soto. Pacquiao ducked him on two different occasions. We're going off the topic since this story is about Abraham though. So I'll stop here.

Now thats worthy of a real fighter

Giving up the belt since no fighter wants to fight him in order to move to bigger and better things is downright great mindset.
Thumbs up for you Abraham :-)

                  shame on Sturm and Pavlik

shame on Felix Sturm and Kelly Pavlik . They are both scared of Arthur Abraham. They ducked him , otherwise boxing fans would have seen great fights and a undisputed middleweight champion. Abraham vs Hopkins would be a great fight
