The tourney winner becomes the winner ring-champ, doesn't he?

Paul Williams is not.

Paul Williams just struggles to put asses in seats. Sturm doesn't.

Perhaps Pavlik-PWill could actually fill an arena with paying customers.

Because Williams alone sure doesn't seem to be able to, as good as he is.

I want to see Abraham vs Froch because I actually believe that the only guy that can take out the Cobra is AA. You can't be coming at his throwing a ton of punches with no defense and no jab and except to go all 12. Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but AA's passivity and Carl's aggressiveness, I think that's the best match-up.

It's not that simple when you're under contract. Promoters can destroy you in the courts, and Arum can be a ruthless bastard. But he could have pushed Arum to make the fight much harder than he did.

Not unless Bute loses his #2 Ring ranking in the meantime.

Yeah, that's why Cotto hasn't ****ed with him yet.
But Arum does good for some guys and for the most part, makes pretty good moves.

I think he has really good matchmakers. He doesn't often throw his guys to the lions, but when he does, him and the fighter both benefit a ton financially.

Bob is the best- I mean DLH, Mayweather, Pacman, Cotto, Pacman, Margarito, Pavlik are all rich because of him.

Now let's look at King's fighters and see how many ended up being rich while with him - I'd day only Tito.

I don't know if there is a promoter that pays more to his fighters and has a better matchmaking than Arum.

Sturm is only a big draw over in Germany. Nobody cares about him over here. Even HBO doesn't want the fight with the way they are low balling it. In my opinion, the only fighter they will approve of for Pavlik is Paul Williams. And like I said, Pavlik is the one that has faded into anonymitity. Williams has attracted HBO viewers. I think the Wright-Williams fight did high TV ratings even though it didn't do good at the gate if I'm not mistaken.

Pavlik signed an extension in June so there's little excuse for not fighting Abraham at 160.

Pavlik ducked AA at 160 and Lopez is ducking Caballero at 122. That said, Arum is the best promoter and has the best matchmakers, what you forgot to mention is that Arum took 4 of those fighters from 0-0.

I don't buy the notion that Arum treats his fighters right. Soto and Donaire are examples of figthers that get thrown under the bus just because they don't have the fan bases of Cotto, Margarito, Pacquiao, and Pavlik.
